Background
ZNF256 as a transcriptional repressor that plays a role in cell proliferation. ZNF256 localizes in the nucleus and contains the KRAB domain that mediates interaction with TRIM28 and is required for transcriptional repressor activity. ZNF256 exists as two isoforms and the calculated molecular weight of isoforms is 55 and 75 kDa. |
